This contribution proves the feasibility of additively manufacture a FeSi6.5% soft magnetic material by fused filament fabrication process. This process is cheaper and easier to use than others like laser power bed fusion. Density, magnetic, and electrical characterizations are done, and will serve as a base for a future comparison with the results from other processes, like binder-jetting and laser power bed fusion. |
