Research areas<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The team is working on the evolution of \u00ab\u00a0clean\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0economic\u00a0\u00bb conversion<\/strong> structures. It focuses its research activity on the frequency rise in conversion structures and their close control<\/strong>. This evolution is related to those of component technologies. The arrival of large gap components (SiC, GaN) marks a radical change in static conversion.<\/p>\n

The study, characterization and modeling of semiconductors, magnetic components (coiled, planar ..), storage components (supercapacitors \/ batteries) are therefore developed. Then it is possible to set up converter models in order to improve them, both in terms of energy and electrical performance, and in terms of reducing electromagnetic disturbances conducted.
