{"id":3410,"date":"2015-04-06T12:48:44","date_gmt":"2015-04-06T11:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/l2ep.univ-lille.fr\/?page_id=3410"},"modified":"2021-01-18T14:52:33","modified_gmt":"2021-01-18T13:52:33","slug":"plateforme-sophemis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/l2ep.univ-lille.fr\/en\/groupes-de-recherche\/equipe-omn\/plateforme-sophemis\/","title":{"rendered":"Plateforme Sophemis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For more than ten years now, the <strong>developments of multi-physics models and optimisation methodologies have been gathered together on the &lsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/optimisation.l2ep.ec-lille.fr\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #f07e1c;\">SOPHEMIS<\/span><\/strong><\/a>&lsquo; platform<\/strong> (Optimisation supervisor of electrical machines in their environment).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/l2ep.univ-lille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/configuration-et-execution-optimisation.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2347\" src=\"https:\/\/l2ep.univ-lille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/configuration-et-execution-optimisation.png\" alt=\"optimisation\" width=\"1385\" height=\"554\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Version 1 of Sophemis used to propose strategies with experimental design methodologies [Thesis by S. Vivier \u2013 2002].<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Currently, version 2 offers many multi-objective optimisation methodologies based, for example, on genetic algorithms [Thesis by F. Moussouni \u2013 2009], multi-granularity aspects (space mapping) and discrete variables [Thesis of Vu Tran \u2013 2009], multi-level methodologies [Thesis by S. Kreawan \u2013 2008], multi-physics [Thesis by A. Berbecea \u2013 2012] and multi-level multi-granularity [Thesis by R. Ben-Ayed \u2013 2012]: development of multi-objective and multi-level space mapping. This development was achieved with the help of more than ten theses as well as the recruitment of a computer engineer. Furthermore, this platform uses distributed computing on 32 cores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">The models associated with this platform use:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">Finite element models: coupling with commercial tools as well as with &lsquo;code_Carmel&rsquo; developed by the <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">&lsquo;modelling&rsquo;<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> team;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-GB\">Static (Matlab) and temporal (Simulink) analytical models.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Different inter-team work can be cited: the platform is interfaced with the code Carmel of the &lsquo;modelling&rsquo; team and is used by the &lsquo;network&rsquo; team (thesis by P. Pankovits, SNCF).
